After hearing about some layoffs, we now have good news from Life is Strange. It seems that there is news about the new installment of the franchise. You can see more Xbox Showcase announcements here.
This is Life is Strange: Double Exposure. After knowing its extended gameplay, as well as its DLC, we have new details of the Nintendo Switch edition:
- Responsible study of the port: The studio in charge of the port is Engine Software, a team with experience in multiple successful projects for Switch.
- Technical challenges: The game uses the Lumen and Nanite skins of Unreal Engine 5, which do not work on Switch, so Engine Software had to completely redo the lighting, which was a laborious process.
- Engine Software History: Engine Software has worked on ports such as Ni no Kuni, Little Nightmares I and II, Ys IX: Monstrum Nox and Shadows of the Damned Hella Remastered.
Don’t forget that the game launches on October 29 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC (Steam) and later for Nintendo Switch. We remind you of its original trailer:
