Back in October 2021, emulation specialist M2 released Toaplan Arcade Garage: Kyukyoku Tiger-Heli on Nintendo Switch in Japan as part of its ‘M2ShotTriggers’ offering.
If you’ve been waiting for a western release, it looks like you’re in luck. Now rated by the ESRB Kyukyoku Tiger-Heli Collection for Switch and PlayStation 4. According to the listing, it will be published by Limited Run Games.
Here is a summary of the rating:
“This is a collection of ten arcade-style action games in which players control helicopters and robots through levels of enemies. Most of the games allow players to control helicopters that fire missiles at enemies (eg planes, tanks, drones); the games are presented from moving perspectives top-down, highlighted by explosions and gunfire.One side-scrolling game allows players to control a robot soldier who punches and lasers to attack enemies; beat-’em gameplay features depleting health bars, various attacks (eg Speed Punch, Fire Punch, Super Punch) and lengthy boss battles.”
