Later this month, Spike Chunsoft is releasing Master Detective Archives: Rain Code on Nintendo Switch.
Unfortunately, if you ended up ordering a copy of the “Isteriful Limited Edition” and are located in North America, there has been a slight delay. Instead of releasing alongside the standard and digital offerings, it is now “expected that orders for this version will be fulfilled” July 14, 2023.
“The main detective archive: RAIN CODE The standard edition and digital versions are not affected and will be available on the originally announced version June 30, 2023 Release date.”
Shinigami plush was the reason for the regression and the problem is now solved:
“This failure is the result of an unexpected and unavoidable delay that occurred during the Spirited 6.5″ Shinigami plush customs clearance process. This customs issue is now resolved. Team Spike Chunsoft, Inc. continues to work closely with its partners to expedite the release of the Isterious Limited Edition.”
