We continue to receive new news for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom fans. Today we want to talk about some curious creatures in the game.
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Specifically, it seems that this sequel has included a new species of animals known as Gondon / Gondones (Dondon / Dondons in English). It is a species of buffaloes related to the Luminous Gems.
There are only five specimens of this species in the Farore region, specifically in the Bonrak Forest. They are part of a Clover quest, so you may already be familiar with them.
How do they work in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? It’s simple, we just have to deposit near you 5 Luminous Gems (in the same way that we deposit cooking materials, for example), and they will eat them. Each Gondon can hold up to 5 luminous stones in their wombs at the same time. Afterwards, we must wait a couple of days and those animals will have created other precious gems. We can speed up the process by sleeping over a campfire near you.
In exchange for 5 Light Gems, players can get one of these five rewards in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom:
- 3x Amber
- 2x Rubies
- 1x Zafiro
- 4x Zonnanio
- 1x Diamante
