Switchch is home to many fighting games, but one series has yet to be released on the hybrid plate yet the Bandai Namco series of SoulCalibur. Last year, SoulCalibur VI Producer Moohiro Okubo said he was open to the idea of a new entry on the switch, if possible, and now in a recent interview with SeaCailburCommunity reveal that the situation hasn't really changed:
If I have to answer seriously, I think I remember telling you earlier that we weren't sure we could move the game to Nintendo Switch. I said we would have to take a closer look and look at that, and well … When I said that, I didn't know we would have Season 2 right now and now that we have, I'll be completely honest about saying I didn't have time to look into that. So, basically, the situation hasn't changed much.
Here is his previous reply, in an interview scheduled for August 2018:
There is currently no development for Change completely. I understand that switchch is a very successful Hardware, and if it ever exists, it would be great to do it.
The last SoulCalibur game released on the Nintendo platform was just that SoulCalibur mythology in 2007 the Wii. Before that there was SoulCalibur II on GameCube, which has a special combat link History of Zelda series. Would you like to see the latest SoulCalibur game come to a switch? Leave a comment below.
