However, it turns out that this isn’t the only major achievement the game has managed to achieve.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has not only become the best-selling Switch game, but it has also officially become the best-selling game Nintendo has ever released. The only game that sold more than this was technically Wii Sports, but that number is considered a bit of a technicality as it was bundled with the Wii in some regions.
