It’s been almost a year since the last Mario Kart 8 Deluxe update. This is mainly due to the fact that Nintendo has long since finished releasing new Booster Course Pass DLC waves for the game. Since then, there hasn’t really been any incentive for the company to officially update the game any further than it already is.
However, you might be surprised to hear that Nintendo released an update for the game tonight. After the update, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe should be on version 3.0.3. As for the patch notes, they don’t really say much. All Nintendo mentions in the patch notes is that “several issues have been fixed to improve the gameplay experience.”
