Super Mario Maker 2 has been on the Nintendo Switch for 5 years now and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. However, it is a much different story for his predecessor. Super Mario Maker on Wii U is about 3 weeks away from being playable online as Nintendo shuts down 3DS and Wii U online services.
With all that said, you might be surprised to learn that the original Mario Maker still has one remaining level that no one has managed to complete. It’s called “Trimming the Herbs” and it was created by Ahoyoo. The level can be beaten in 16 seconds, but it’s a Kaizo-esque level that requires a lot of skill to complete. Players have until April 8th, when the online servers shut down, to beat the level.
