The latest physical video game software rankings have arrived from Europe’s biggest gaming market, the United Kingdom, and there’s no dethroning Hogwarts Legacy at the moment. The physical release of Metroid Prime Remastered entered the chart this week at #2. Game Industry is reporting that Metroid Prime Remastered has missed the coveted number one spot by 1,000 units. Here is the GfK UK Boxed Top Ten for the week ending 4 March 2023:
“[Metroid Prime Remastered] is the fourth biggest physical launch of a Metroid game of all time, and boxed sales of this version are only 45% lower than what the original managed to do back in 2002. Metroid Prime Remastered is the second biggest physical release of the year so far, ahead of the Dead Space and Fire Emblem remakes Engage.”
