To celebrate this year's Pokémon Day, from now until March 2, Mewtwo and the Kanto region starters will appear at Max Raid Battles at Pokémon Sword and Shield. Gigantamax Grimmsnarl, Kingler, Hatterene, Orbeetle and Toxtricity will also show up from time to time.
Though as exciting as this may sound, unfortunately, you can't catch Mewtwo. While we're sure many coaches would like to include this particular pack beast, it won't happen during this Wild Area limited time event. Instead, you will receive a large amount of rewards each time you win.
The Mewtwo-infested breed is back on mobile-hit Pokémon GO. This coincides with Pokémon Day and the release of Pokémon: Mewtwo Holds Back – Evolution on Netflix.
