A few weeks ago, Digital Eclipse made a surprise announcement – revealing an “all-new” Power Rangers adventure to be released at some point in “at the end of 2024“. Unfortunately, at the time of this discovery, console platforms for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind are not confirmed.

Looks like we have a little update on this one Digital Eclipse website (thanks for the advice, ‘MartineXIII’ on X). When you click the “buy now” button, the game is apparently available for purchase on multiple console platforms, including the Nintendo Switch eShop – with a link directing fans to Nintendo’s digital store site.

Except on Steam pagethe links for other versions of this upcoming release don’t actually lead to game pages yet, but they at least seem to confirm this retro-style multiplayer action game mixed with Beat ’em up action and more is on its way to Nintendo’s hybrid platforms.

If you haven’t heard our original post, here’s a little background on this upcoming release:

“In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, the team faces the robotic reincarnation of the Power Rangers’ longtime enemy. Robo-Rita has summoned a portal to go back in time so she can finally defeat the Power Rangers by forming an alliance with her younger self, Robo-Rita and Rita Repulsa rewinds, rewrites and remixes the past in an attempt to stop the very formation of the Power Rangers, changing the course of history.

“Will the two Ritas and their army of monstrous enemies from across the MMPR timeline finally succeed in taking down the Power Rangers? Or will these teenagers with attitude learn to work together and counter this disastrous chronological collaboration?”

If we hear any news about this title in the near future, we’ll be sure to let you know. As noted earlier, Digital Eclipse is the same team behind Switch games and collections such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, and Disney Classic Games: Aladdin And The Lion King.
