The renowned Minecraft building title, popular for its deep freedom of action for gamers, is about to expand with a more limited but more narrative-focused adventure: Minecraft dungeons.
There is no doubt that the absence of the elements of construction and destruction will change the way you play, although that is not necessarily a good thing. Many question the decision to create a game in the Minecraft universe that does not have the building elements that made this franchise popular, a topic that producer David Nisshagen touched on in a recent interview with Kotaku

This was a conscious design choice, as we wanted to offer an experience that differs from Minecraft's survival mode, and plays a bit more like adventure maps in Minecraft. We wanted to focus on adventure and exploration themes in Minecraft, and that also means we focus on combat. However, there is an element of creativity in the way you create your character, and in the various combinations of equipment and enchantments you use at any given time.
