Movie Super Mario Bros. it was recently shown to a large number of viewers all over the world, exceeding the expectations of various critics, which were not particularly high for the film. The film received mixed reception from various media outlets and has an average critical score of Metacritic 46that didn’t seem to worry Shigeru Miyamoto though, who said that a bit of luck is needed when it comes to achieving this level of film success.
“I had a certain level of expectation that this film would also do well [like the Super Nintendo World theme park], but I was very surprised that it went beyond what I could have imagined when it finally came out,” Miyamoto, who also produced the film, told reporters. “You need a bit of luck to achieve this level of film success. Although many foreign critics gave the film relatively low marks, I think this also contributed to the film’s notoriety and buzz.”
