A new batch of details for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 players! This is news about his next DLC, detailed this week.
What’s new in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Specifically, after learning the date of its final DLC among other amiibo figure data, more details and images of this final content have now been offered. First of all, it is shared that in this Redeemed Futures DLC, there are two ways to grow your characters. There are the usual levels found in most RPGs, but also a new system called Affinity Goals. By performing various actions, such as defeating specific enemies or collecting items, you will earn affinity points that allow us to make characters stronger.
To do it, we simply have to go to the screen affinity goals
How do we get them? A form of accumulate affinity points is filling the Collectopaedia. Items collected while exploring the world are listed there, and we can earn Affinity Points by getting a certain amount of each. And if you think that collecting items is too “passive” for you, there is also the Enemipedia, where we can get Affinity Points by killing enemies a certain number of times.
In addition, they have also detailed this characters:
- N (voiced by Ryouhei Arai in Japanese) is a Moebius. He attacks the city and points his sword at Ghondor. He does it on Z’s orders.
- Z (voiced by Akio Ootsuka in Japanese) is the leader of Moebius. He is the one who pushes N to attack the city. Oddly enough, he is seen fighting alongside Shulk and Rex in one scene. How is it possible?
- Riku (voiced by Ayaka Senbongi in Japanese) is a curious Nopon with bushy eyebrows. He is a member of the Liberators, just like Shulk and Rex. Wait a second, is this really the same Riku?… Just like in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Riku is a skilled mechanic, so skilled, in fact, that he was the one who built Shulk’s prosthetic arm. Also, if you want to strengthen your weapons, Riku is your nopon. Go to Riku’s workshop, give him the necessary money and materials and he will do the “magic” on him. Speaking of materials, you can get them from treasure chests and unique monsters around the world. Oh, and that hammer of yours certainly looks familiar…
Finally, two more classes have been detailed for Xenoblade Chronicles 3:
- Machinist (Nikol). Weapon: Variable Backpack. Battle Role: Defender. Take full advantage of the Variable weapon and activate various effects when attacking and protecting. Art Talent: Total Destruction. Not only does it deal damage that pierces through the enemy’s defenses, but it also reduces the amount of damage taken by the user while performing this Art.
- Souenshi (Glimmer). Weapon: Staff. Battle Role: Healer. A healer who can play music to heal allies. He can make use of various effects depending on the tune played. When he uses his Talent Art, all allies recover his HP.

As you can see, in this DLC set before the events of the base game, players join a cast of new and familiar characters in an original story setting that connects all three installments of the Xenoblade Chronicles series. It also introduces new battle mechanics, such as the Unity Combo, where two characters can attack in unison.
