Geoff Keighley is busy organizing this year’s Summer Game Fest and the schedule for the event seems to be running out. At one of the opening night events, franchise co-creator Ed Boon will join Geoff live on stage to demo the new Mortal Kombat reboot, titled Mortal Kombat 1. We’ve been treated to a cinematic trailer and a September 19th release date, but we’ve yet to see gameplay footage . You can see it live at the opening night on Thursday, June 8.
