Rumors are swirling this year about the next console Nintendo is releasing. So far, the company has said very little about the Switch’s successor. However, rumors earlier today suggested that may not be the case for much longer. That’s not the only thing about the Switch 2 that has fueled speculation today, though.
You see, NateTheHate, a reliable leaker and insider, published a post on Reddit saying that the Switch 2 will have backwards compatibility. He’s not the first to say this, as there are Switch 2 rumors that say the same. In fact, some have even gone so far as to say that backwards compatibility will be for both physical and digital games. Nothing has been officially confirmed yet, though, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
