After rumors last week that Mark Hamill – better known as Luke Skywalker – will be promoted as Vesemir for season two of Netflix's Witcher series with madness, the digital broadcasting officer has now confirmed who will actually play the role.
Danish actor Kim Bodnia, who has portrayed Konstantin Vasiliev in a controversial television series Kill Eve. Here is what Witcher showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich said about the decision:
I am so excited to welcome Kim Bodnia to The Witcher Game. I have enjoyed his unique talent in shows like Killing Eve and The Bridge, and I can't wait to bring the energy, peace and warmth to Vesemir's character, which is an integral part of our upcoming season.
