The Pokémon Company International today revealed more information about Tera Raid Battles, special in-game events, and more for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, launching on November 18, 2022, for the Nintendo Switch family of systems. As Trainers explore the Paldea region, they can:
- Reference the Scarlet Book and the Violet Book for more information about unidentified Pokémon.
- For a limited time, defeat tough Pokémon and receive bountiful rewards in Black Crystal Tera Raid Battles.
- Participate in special Tera Raid Battle Events that increase encounters with certain Pokémon or Tera Types.
- Catch the newly discovered Pokémon Gimmighoul.
- …and more!
The Pokémon Company International also shared in-game event details coming soon for Pokémon UNITE and plans for Pokémon HOME and Pokémon GO compatibility with Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
- Compatibility between Pokémon Scarlet, Pokémon Violet, and Pokémon HOME is slated for spring 2023. After players have linked either title to Pokémon HOME, they’ll be able to transfer Pokémon from Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet to Pokémon HOME and bring select Pokémon from past games to the Paldea region.
- Celebrate the Release of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet in Pokémon UNITE!
From November 18, 2022, to February 1, 2023, Pokémon UNITE will hold a special in-game event to commemorate the release of the latest games in the Pokémon franchise. Players will be able to receive Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet themed Trainer fashion items, stickers for their Unite snapshots, and more.
