Square Enix has uploaded a fresh new trailer for its upcoming Life is Strange Double Exposure which revolves around an older Max Caulfield from the original Life is Strange video game. The trailer showcases Max’s new powers in Double Exposure, while giving a general overview of what to expect when the game launches in October. A Nintendo Switch version is confirmed to be coming later.
“In addition to exploring Max Caulfield’s newly developed power to switch between two parallel timelines, the deep dive also focused on her new Pulse ability. The pulse allows Max to glance at the opposite timeline be fore jumping through it, since the danger isn’t limited to just one timeline. With Pulse, Max can also eavesdrop on conversations taking place on the other side, which is the perfect supernatural tool for the amateur detective.”
“Max will have to use both aspects of his new power to solve the impossible murder of his friend Safi. As Max moves back and forth between two increasingly divergent timelines, her power allows the player to complete unique puzzles, navigate the complex social dynamics of the campus, and explore all the mysteries that Caledon University has to offer.”
