Thanks to GoNintendo and Dogon McBanana we have been able to take a new look at unreleased data from Mario Smash Football for GameCube, one of the first sports adventures of the plumber. Specifically, we have discovered that initially different characters were going to be included in the game that would not finally see the light of day in the final game, such as:
- human characters similar to Mario and Luigi, who would serve as support.
- apeswhich would have served as support for Donkey Kong…
- Skeleton Koopas from Paper Mario as doctors in the field.
- Forests as stadium security guards.
