At the start of this month, Nintendo announced it was buying the Canadian developer Next Level Games.
Now that the studio is becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nintendo, it appears to be on somewhat of a hiring spree – as over the past week it’s apparently relisted multiple jobs, originally posted last December.
It’s looking for talent to fill the role of a producer, art production manager, UI artist, lead test engineer and more. Here’s the original Twitter post from late last year:
“Next Level Games is looking for talented, driven team players. If you have a passion for video games and love bringing stories to digital life, please connect with us at nextlevelgames.com.”
In recent times, Next Level Games is best known for Luigi’s Mansion 3. It’s also previously worked on titles like Mario Strikers Charged, Punch-Out!! and Metroid Prime: Federation Force
Nintendo has previously stated how the acquisition means it will be able to “secure the availability of Next Level Games development resources, including development expertise” and “facilitate an anticipated improvement in development speed and quality by enabling closer communication and exchange of staff with the Nintendo development team.”
