Specifically, it seems that Nintendo is between the companies where Japanese parents and grandparents want their children and grandchildren to work because of the stability it offers

- Toyota: 10.8%
- Nintendo: 6.9%
- Panasonic: 5.4%
- Nintendo is popular for its family image and recent economic success.
- Rounding out the top 10 are Apple, Mitsubishi Shoji, Itochu Shoji, Sony and Japan Airlines/JAL.
- Sony does not rank as high as Nintendo due to instability in the electronics industry.
- Parents and grandparents value stability and job security above high salaries.
