In case you missed it, this Tetris 99 Maximus Cup is now officially underway. If you participate, you will not be able to unlock the special Princess Peach: Showtime! theme. This event will run until April 8, 2024, so jump in while you still can. Just keep in mind that you’ll need to have an active Switch Online subscription to participate.

After updating Tetris 99 last month, Nintendo has now announced that it will be hosting a new Maximus Cup in the game.
This event will be themed around Princess Peach: Showtime! and will escape from April 5 to April 8. During this time, players will be able to unlock a theme based on the new title, featuring themed background art, music, and Tetrimino designs.
“Princess Peach™: It is time! game for Nintendo Switch™ system enters the spotlight for the next Tetris® 99 MAXIMUS CUP, so take your seats and prepare for a royal battle of skills and wits… Tetris style!”
