Nintendo has done a lot with its Nintendo Switch Online subscription service. There were games available there, libraries of retro games, free trials of games that were released, and more. So it’s not that surprising that Nintendo has announced another thing for Nintendo Switch Online members.
However, what it is might surprise you. Nintendo has announced the Nintendo Switch Online Playtest program. Nintendo isn’t saying what players will be testing, only that it’s “related to a new feature for the Nintendo Switch Online service,” and that those recruited to participate will need to download the exclusive software to their Switch consoles. The recruitment period will run from the 10th to the 15th, and the playtesting period will be from October 23rd to November 5th.
