After Emio’s teaser, it was chilling to say the least. You already know that on the website you can review the 110 best Nintendo Switch games in 2024, but this teaser certainly puzzled us. It was a message where Nintendo asked us who Emio is.
Now, after mistakenly thinking it might be related to Project M, as well as some additional details coming from its age rating, we have its official announcement as Emio – The Smiler: Famicom Detective Club. Following this official reveal, it was confirmed that a demo was on the way.
Now, after giving you our final review, as well as the average score and the somewhat disappointing first sales figures in the UK, we have received a report from YouTube. An anonymous report indicates that Nintendo is looking to remove videos from YouTube that show the final chapter and post-game content.
This is what was shared:
- Videos of the other chapters of the game They have had no problems on YouTube.
- These removals began after Nintendo updated its Content Guidelines for creators, including streamers and YouTubers.
- Key changes to the guidelines include content ban that “detriment the gaming experience in multiplayer modes.”
- Nintendo also reserves the right to ban the use of content from its games if violations are detected.
Nintendo’s new content guidelines are now in effect, so content creators should be cautious when posting videos about the game’s final chapter. This may be the first move under these guidelines.
