Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa explained to investors and fans that he will hold a Nintendo Direct presentation this June that will focus on games for the rest of the year on Nintendo’s current platform. He said there will be no mention of a successor to the popular Nintendo Switch console, likely called the Switch 2, so don’t look out for that. However, they will announce a successor to the Nintendo Switch within this fiscal year.
