Coronavirus outbreaks have been a concern for many countries, especially China. Video game companies, such as Nintendo, should modify other systems to avoid any possible effects of the coronavirus outbreak. Nintendo's delay in making some of their products, including Switch consoles, was announced another day, but an American Nintendo spokesman sent a statement to Kotaku confirming that this would only work in the Japanese market. You can see their statement in full, where they explain why, below.
"We can confirm that the production of certain Nintendo products in the Japanese market is delayed due to an outbreak of 2019-nCoV outbreaks. Nintendo does not expect to have a major impact on our extensive network of worldwide supply of apps and services at this time, and product sales in North America and Europe, including between the borders, it's not affected. We would like to voice our concerns and support for all those affected by the coronavirus during this challenging time. "
