Late last year, a French consumer organization named Nintendo as one of the even worse Companies in 2019 also called for Change to be the most impaired product of the year. The biggest problem it had with Nintendo's hardware was obviously linked to the Joy-Con drift. Overall, it wasn't a good look for the Japanese company or its latest generation of harps.
Now, because of this, Nintendo is reported to have improved the situation in this region (thank you, GoNintendo). Speaking to Le Monde, Phillippe Lavoue of Nintendo said that although the number of cases was very low, Swiss owners who were mistaken for Joy-Con could now have their regulators repaired or replaced, even after the trade deadline expired.
Nintendo previously said it was "aware" of these types of reports elsewhere and told anyone experiencing problems to visit their support page. Like France, some parts of the world offer restoration and renovation. Back in November last year, Nintendo's US President, Doug Bowser, urged troubled Switch owners to contact customer support teams to ensure they return to gaming as soon as possible.
