Nintendo and Illumination confirmed this afternoon that Super Mario Bros. is moving days ahead in the United States and 60 other markets worldwide, much to the delight of fans. Movie Super Mario Bros. will now be released in a number of markets on Wednesday, April 5. The joint project between Nintendo and Illumination was originally slated for a theatrical release on Friday, April 7. The final movie trailer will be shown in a special Mario Movie Nintendo Direct on March 9 at 14:00 PT / 22:00 UK time.
