After learning last week that Pauline would be joining the fun in the Super Mario Party Jamboree, Nintendo revealed another trailer today, this time highlighting the game’s new boards.
Shared on Twitter by the user @NintendoUKthe 39-second video provides a quick tour of the game’s five boards and shows some of the sights we can expect to see on each.
Things start with Goomba Lagoonan island plate with an explosive Goomba volcano at its center. Then we move on Rainbow Galleriarevealed the mall board in the Direct trailer, and take another look at the ‘Flash Sale’ mechanic that will bring Stars a tasty discount. Roll ’em Raceway follows that, showing more characters in their karts to navigate.
Then we hit it really new things (all of the above get individual emphasis in the initial direct disclosure). Footage from Mega Wiggler’s Tree Party the board shows the characters running along the Wiggler’s back and trying to avoid pesky piranha plants, there’s even a bell you can ring to make the sleepy Wiggler take chosen routes. Finally, there is King Bowser’s Forta lava-filled panel with a giant Koopas king in the center.

You look pretty fun, don’t you? Along with these five newcomers, two classic boards from Mario Party 1 and 2 will return to the Jamboree, giving us a whopping seven options.
We’ve seen some of the new playable characters, we’ve seen some of the returning minigames, and now we’ve seen the new panels. What else does Nintendo reveal it has up its sleeve before this one launches on the Switch on October 17?
