Nintendo executives said at this month’s annual shareholder meeting that they were aware of recent leaks that originated from a Google employee who was able to access private videos on YouTube’s backend. To combat the leak, they partnered with outside companies to diagnose security leaks and also began working with employees to educate them about IT system security.
