Nintendo’s Switch Online subscription service has been getting a lot of attention lately, especially the Expansion Pack plan that had been launched late last year. This is due in large part to the release of Banjo-Kazooie on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack‘s Nintendo 64 library.
When Nintendo adds new games to the subscription service’s retro libraries, the company will sometimes update the inner workings of the retro library, and occasionally, even the emulator itself. For example, it has been discovered on Twitter that Nintendo has been tweaking the Switch’s Nintendo 64 emulator to do a better job at displaying water in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It isn’t 100% perfect yet, and the fog is still missing, but it’s a sign that Nintendo is doing something at all. You can see the tweet about the matter down below.
