Today a new and interesting message has been shared that is directly related to Nintendo. We are talking here about world events and further industry reactions to them.
In this case, we have been able to learn the official statements from Nintendo after the company ceased a few days ago your shipments to Russia. This is due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the war that is taking place in this area.
we leave you with the notice now issued by Nintendo to Eurogamer to explain the situation:
We have decided to discontinue shipping all Nintendo products to Russia for the foreseeable future. This is due to the considerable volatility surrounding the logistics of shipping and distributing physical goods. Additionally, the Nintendo eShop in Russia is currently undergoing maintenance following the suspension of Russian ruble transactions by the payment provider.
Eurogamer also confirms that Nintendo has removed some promotional materials from the country, including trailers from YouTube.
Remember that this not the first step that Nintendo takes about it. In addition to reducing his activity on social networks, he has disabled payments in the eShop in Russia and has also delayed Advance Wars 1 + 2: Reboot Camp.
