Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa informed investors that sales of Kirby and the Forgotten Land exceeded expectations in certain markets. Mr. Furukawa said sales of Kirby games in Europe and Asia were generally “relatively weak” compared to other territories, but fortunately Kirby and The Forgotten Land bucked that trend with above-expected sales in both regions.
