The original Yooka-Laylee hold the breath and enjoy the platforms of the old-school 3D collection, though some may argue that it has brought the flaws of many of its wrong forms. This year's sequence changed the main gameplay in 2D while resurfacing Country Donkey Kong a series of monkey monkeys, but it is also brilliantly added to the overworld, with some very clever stage design and the ability to go straight to the last boss, if you feel you have the wrong stuff.
Yooka-Laylee and Impible Lair it looks and sounds fantastic, cleverly packaged with the same seductive spirit of our beloved Rare-like, and it was fun to see them back in 2019.

Tetris 99 down to Nintendo Switch Online when the service needs to be collected. Of course, the idea for War Royale Tetris had been making the rounds online as long as jokes about the fullness of the wagon series on BR the cart itself, but few could predict how much that would cost them. A layer of attacking (and defending) strategy for the other 98 players adds a new dimension to a game that has already covered hundreds of hours before.
Tetris 99 has survived the switchch Online and was released as a standalone product with DLC, so subscribers can get in on the action (even though they play offline mode for defeating the purpose). Regardless of how you play, it's a totally important and worthwhile puzzle to put you into the realm of new Russian block-fallers or a three-year-old tetromino champion.
We just wish we had no rubbish about it. Given how many hours we have played in our lives, we strive to think of another game in which the consistency between skill level and hourly investment is indeed in diameter.

It always seemed like a fun idea, but in terms of originality Crypt for NecroDancer, even the original fans probably weren't expecting exactly how it would turn out Cadence of Hyrule will come out. It replaces Hyrule with a Crypt-based nickname in its own light, but it has also been able to be a feature. Zelda The game itself – nothing less is done for Your Game Brace, an outfit donned by indie buttons at one of Nintendo's most popular platforms. Developers have made the series – and the music of the finest series – proud. If you missed this earlier in the year, there's no time like the current to find out.

If there was one game that spread its wings (a little furious, maybe) and drew the attention of non-gaming media in 2019, it should Goose's game with no title. An informal goose robbed the internet for a month and you couldn't get past the feed without seeing the light blowing everywhere.
The game itself was a smooth mix of the right mix of charm, chaos and child-like badness that didn't get its approval. Sometimes you just want to sit down for a few short hours and have a good, short and, most important, it's fun gaming experience. This is exactly what the Head of Goose Game has to offer – an innocent, wild bird game slide that won't overwhelm your backdrop for the last few months. With love.
Oh, again honk.
