The suspect accused of sending threats to Nintendo and attending the audience during the now-cancelled Nintendo Live event in Tokyo earlier this year has now admitted to the charges (thanks, Splatoon Torikar).

Prosecutors said there was “no room for childish motives” and recommended that the individual be jailed for a year, with damages estimated at around ¥700 million (about $4.4 million). Sentencing is now scheduled for July 24, 2024.
