Nintendo continues to register new patents in Japan. On this occasion, we were able to meet a new one related to the game in desktop mode.
According to what has been shared, this patent is known as 特 開 2019-208873 and its objective is «to improve versatility when playing a title with a plurality of users in a single display device, as in the desktop mode, where two images of information are arranged in different directions, which makes it easy for the user to understand the game ».
The most surprising thing about this patent is that, although a console appears in the image Nintendo Switch with a baseball game, the truth is that reference is made to a Web page which corresponds to that of a Wii U game, specifically Wii Party U. It is mentioned that the registration of this patent aims to further improve the versatility of the Wii U game.
