Nintendo of Europe SE is pleased to announce a restructuring of its management team, with Luciano Pereña taking on the roles of CEO, President and Chairman of the Management Board. This change comes as the company bids a fond farewell to Mr. Stephan Bole, who has decided to leave the company and end his career after more than 35 years with Nintendo, including the last six years as President of Nintendo in Europe.

As of September 1, 2024, Nintendo of Europe’s management team will be reorganized as follows::

In addition, Frank Rittinghaus has been appointed Nintendo of Europe’s Marketing, Communications, and Direct-to-Consumer Business. Frédéric Michaux succeeds Mr. Rittinghaus in his previous role as Managing Director of Nintendo Benelux.

“On behalf of the entire company, I extend my sincere thanks to Stephan Bole for his excellent leadership and many years of dedication to Nintendo,” said new Nintendo of Europe President Luciano Pereña. “It is an honour to continue Nintendo’s purpose of putting smiles on people’s faces. I am confident that this united European management group and team will allow us to build on our company’s legacy of delivering unique experiences.”

Nintendo recently completed the reorganization of all its European entities into a single organization, Nintendo of Europe SE, while keeping all local branches open.
