Wakai: Connecting the ground and the skies without problems also presented difficulties, really.
Doha: Yes, the sound crew often pressed the programmers to clarify where the dividing line was between the surface and the heavens.
Wakai: Sound transitions are also smooth, but the background music in particular should change depending on the situation. Because of this, we need to place transition triggers to indicate where the music should change.
Doha: I’ve never needed to consider where the sky begins before, so I had to think about it. (laughs)
All: (laughs)
Wakai: Also, it was difficult to find an appropriate sound for heaven.
Takizawa: I guess it’s because the sky is a scene we’ve all seen from inside an airplane, right?
Wakai: Exactly. She knew what “flying in the sky” sounded like, but they asked to create music for an “island in the sky”. (laughs)
Aunuma: After all, no one has ever been to an island in the sky.
