Nintendo Switch 2 would include a custom Nvidia chip

Rumors arise about a possible new Nintendo console with additional features coming from a new business unit led by Nvidia, focused on designing custom chips for cloud computing companies and other uses, including advanced artificial intelligence (AI) processors. We recently informed you about Switch 2 and now we have more information.

Nintendo’s current Switch portable console already uses Nvidia’s Tegra X1 chip, and it is suggested that a new version of the Switch console, expected this year, could include a custom Nvidia design. However, the source is not identified, and Nintendo has declined to comment on the matter.
