Nintendo hasn’t done much with the Switch’s firmware lately. The last few updates, including versions 17.0.0 and 18.0.0, contained very few new additions. In fact, about a third of the Nintendo Switch updates released in the past 12 months were non-reboot updates.
Well, Nintendo released a new update a little while ago. After the update, the switch firmware should now be at version 19.0.0. Not surprisingly, this update doesn’t really do much. All Nintendo says in the official patch notes is that there have been “general system stability improvements to improve the user experience.”
