Analysts have come in saying they do not expect supply issues to be resolved any time soon and that the Nintendo switchch console can remain difficult to detect throughout the year. This could be the head of Nintendo as Sony and Microsoft roll out their new plans this year.

"This could increase in the summer, but we may see a shortfall later in the year because Nintendo will not be able to produce enough units at the time of purchase," said Hideki Yasuda, an analyst at the Ace Research Institute.
