Nintendo announced late last week that they had discovered a major bug in the latest update for Nintendo Switch Sports. They subsequently pulled the offending update and closed the Nintendo Switch Sports servers and Nintendo Switch Online cloud backup save data for the game. Today, Nintendo say they have fixed the issue and players will be asked to download a software update (Version 1.2.2) tomorrow Tuesday, 18th October and the Nintendo Switch Online servers will go back online. Players will then be asked to download a second patch on Thursday, 20th October (date could change) which will once again allow you to back your Switch Sports saves up if you have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
