It’s only been a little over a month since Nintendo released the latest update for Nintendo Switch Sports. The version 1.3.1 update was very small, but it was released after a few months of the game not getting any updates at all.
Well, it looks like Nintendo isn’t done with the game yet. Nintendo Switch Sports has received a brand new update from Nintendo, bringing the game to version 1.4.0. However, don’t let the version number fool you. The update is mostly minor. You can see the patch notes below.

- Added reissued items.
- If you collect all currently available items, a collection of items that you haven’t completed before will become available (only once a week).
All in all
- Now you can get special items by fulfilling certain conditions.
- Fixed an issue with Pro League score calculation.
- Several issues have been fixed to improve the gameplay experience.
