Every year an online site to collect reviews Metacritic publishes rankings of game publishers and 2022 was no exception. The ranking is based on each publisher’s performance in 2022, and interestingly, it was Sony that came first in 2022 with an average score of 85.6. Nintendo didn’t do so well as it averaged 78.6 and therefore came in at twelfth place. Here is the ranking of the top fifteen game publishers based on game releases in 2022:
