Every now and then Nintendo will release a day one update for a new game that is about to launch or has just launched on the same day. Most of these updates usually fix some bugs that were found at the last minute or make certain things in the game available for the public to play.
This is no exception. Nintendo has released a brand new update for the Nintendo World Championships NES Edition. After the update, the game should be at version 1.1.0. According to the official patch notes, the update adds a brand new mode and fixes some bugs. You can see the patch notes below.
