E3 2020 is expected to be slightly different this year, as it transforms into a "fans, media and impact event" event.

Without these changes, the show will continue. In a press announcement on its official website, the Entertainment Software Association has guaranteed many notable players – including Nintendo – have already made a commitment to this year's event, which returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center in June.

Many leading video game companies are already committed to participate in E3 2020, which includes Xbox, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Bethesda Softworks, SEGA, Capcom, Square Enix, Take-Two Interactive software, BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc., and Warner Bros. Games, among others.

This follows from news last month when Tony announced it would no attend E3 2020, with Doug Bowser it was revealed Nintendo will return:

We look forward to participating in E3 2020. It is one of the many great places this year to meet people in a social context. Every year, we base our approach on E3 for content to share.

In related matters, the personality of the industry and the game developer Geoff Keighly announced that he will not be attending this year's circle:

I have taken the difficult decision to refuse to produce the E3 Coliseum. For the first time in 25 years, I won't be part of E3.
