The cast of voice actors of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has confirmed a ban that Nintendo: they prevent them from performing lines of dialogue requested by fans. The revelation came during a panel at MCM Comic Conwhere the actors explained the restrictions imposed by the company through Confidentiality agreements.
Patricia Summersettone of the voice actresses, mentioned that the cast signed “very strict confidentiality agreements” to protect Nintendo’s intellectual property and rights. While he understands fans’ disappointment, he emphasized that they cannot act against the company’s wishes. Sean Chiplockthe voice of Revali, added that while he doesn’t think Nintendo would pursue them legally, doing so could mean losing the opportunity to work with the company in the future.
