Star Wars Day is next month, and to celebrate all things “a galaxy far, far away,” Nintendo will be offering a free trial of Star Wars: Republic Commando Switch Online in North America.
This game will be playable from April 20th to April 26th and is free to download, provided you are an online Switch member.
Additionally, the digital version will be 50% off the regular price until April 26th. Switch Online members can also earn 100 INintendo Platinum Points by participating in this trial game.
Republic Commando admittedly didn’t release at its best on the Switch, but Aspyr eventually pushed out a framerate and performance update for the game. Here’s a look at it, along with a trailer, courtesy of Nintendo.com:
