The NPD Group which tracks software and hardware sales in the United States of America has published the most played games in the first quarter of 2022. A number of games were originally released a fairly long time ago such as The Sims 4 and Grand Theft Auto V. Nintendo will be pleased to see that Animal Crossing: New Horizons has made the list despite not receiving substantial updates this year. The majority of games which adorn the list are multiplayer games as you would expect such as Fortnite and Call of Duty: Vanguard.
